Join us at our Period Drama Showreel scene workshop weekend and learn the secrets to a powerful on screen performance.
Period Drama can be a tough one to nail, and often falls flat without the correct attention to script/acting style/location/costume/hair/makeup detail. What can work out as very expensive when arranged individually, is actually very affordable in our workshop weekend!
Across our workshop weekend we work on original period drama scenes written by our writing team especially for you! We rehearse on the Saturday, discussing screen acting technique, accents, and work on the specific style of line delivery. Then on the Sunday, we film at our fab location with industry level gear & a professional Hair/Makeup Artist!
Whilst we are not able to provide costumes, we are able to give advice on where you can source brilliant costumes to perfectly fit your character and scene!
In this workshop we will be working on original duologue scenes! Sign up with a friend to have an original scene written for you both (at our discounted paired rated), or we will pair you with another of our fabulous workshop participants and write a scene to specifically suit both of your castings!
You will then receive the fully edited scene to be used in your showreel with in 2 weeks of the workshop.
