Matt and Monty are so much fun and very perceptive directors. They limit the amount of students to ensure we all get personalised feedback and are not rushed when shooting our showreel footage (which is great quality).

Pre -Workshop: Script Writing & Prep
After booking a workshop, we will contact you to arrange a consultation with our script writer who will pair you with another workshop attendee & write a showreel scene written specifically for your casting! You will then have until the workshop day to learn the script & be ready to workshop/film!
Workshop Day Schedule:
Training
We spend the first session of the day teaching you our simple screen acting techniques. Focusing on camera exercises, clip analysis & script work, we break down and simplify the art of acting for camera .
Camera Rehearsals
After a break, we get to work on rehearsing your bespoke scripts! We rehearse on camera, giving you feedback & direction along the way as well as showing you playback so you can feel prepared for filming.
Showreel Scene Filming
Lights, Camera Action!
Fresh off a focused morning of screen acting training & scene rehearsal/direction, you're ready to film! Put everything you've learned into it & deliver your best on screen performance yet.
The Edit
Within the next 2-3 weeks you will receive your fully edited bespoke showreel scene from us ready to add to your showreel!

Payment Plans:
Our workshops are priced so that each workshop offers only limited spaces and each participant can be given incredibly individual and direct feedback to their bespoke pieces. It also ensures that our quality level of filming and sound recording remains incredibly high! We believe this is why we have received nothing but glowing response from our attendees and it is not something we are looking to change!
However, we do understand that whilst showreel material is necessary, it can be an expensive addition to an actors portfolio. For this reason, if you are interested in our workshops but worried about the financial side, please don't hesitate to drop us an email and we would be more than happy to arrange a payment plan of either 2 or 3 easy payments to suit you! (full payment is due prior to attending workshop so the earlier you book in, the better!)

ABOUT OUR COURSES
Pro-Actor Showreels Screen Acting Workshops are designed to give you the confidence & skills needed to develop and really nail your screen acting performances. With over 5 years showreel filming experience, award winning short films and Film/TV experience, we have a vast amount of knowledge to impart. Also, we absolutely love working with up and coming actors & watching small changes create huge differences in a screen performance!
Whether you are transitioning from more of a stage acting background, have had little/no training at all or are looking to brush up your screen skills, our workshops are designed for all levels. All of us are learning, and we aim give you direct feedback and tips that you can put to work immediately in our filming sessions.
There are many little tricks and tips that can be learned to adjust and improve a screen acting performance, from eye line and camera awareness to volume and focus techniques. We guarantee our workshops will teach you something new that you can apply to your acting immediately.
We also ensure you have a great, original piece of text tailored to you so you can leave with a fabulous piece of new showreel footage!

Cancellation Policy:
Our workshops are highly personalised and tailored to a small group of actors - It is important to us that our classes are not crammed full so we can give as much personal direction and attention to each actor as possible. Due to this, we can only offer refunds if the request is made with at least 6 weeks notice before the workshop. Refunds/cancellations/exchanges within the 6 weeks prior to the workshop will not be permitted.
